First Guitar Lessons: Musical Intervals

Hello friends, I said in the previous article that I will tell you the first thing you should start. Friends, when you start music theories, the first thing you should learn is intervals. In order for us to learn this thoroughly and our ears to get used to these sound intervals, we should focus on this subject for a considerable time. So what are these intervals? Here you go, read on.

In music theory, interval is the difference between two sounds. In Western music, intervals / intervals are commonly differences between sounds in a scale. The smallest of these differences is half sound.

The table above shows the most common sound ranges in a chromatic array. “Unison” is formed by combining the same two notes and the interval value is “0”. Half sound is the sound distance between two adjacent notes in the chromatic sequence. Full sound is the sound range consisting of two half sounds, and “Tritone” is the sound range consisting of three full or six half sounds.
